It’s been a few days since I posted last on here and, exercise wise, it’s not been a good few days; self-indulgence wise they’ve been great.
I did a 10km run on Thursday and was planning on swimming on Friday when I got a call from a friend asking did I want to go for a sun set beer? My brother’s here at the moment so I thought it would be a nice thing to do so off we went.
I then had to meet Samia, Jay le Shark, Doris and the Sniffer for dinner as a leaving party for the former and that involved lots of good food and a number of drinks.
Saturday morning brought work and a large quantity of bread – I had a number of sandwiches – before I went for a swim.
Finally broke the 32 minute barrier postin 31.03 which I was very happy with but then I came down with the worst case of cramp I can ever imagine – calves, hamstrings, quads – even my shins – agony!
I subsequently ruined that good work by having pizza for dinner and then beers on my night out – luckily I cut some serious shapes on the dancefloor which will have burned up a number of calories….
Sunday was a case of up and preparing for dinner that night – I made some roast pork pittas for friends to enjoy with the football before going dahn sarf to Friendship Beach for a BBQ for a friend’s birthday.
Had a couple more beers and ate too much whilst there, before watching FC Phuket win in town.
Now feeling very guilty so will be swimming tonight, running tomorrow and then biking and running on wednesday and then perhaps doing an extended ride on Thursday…..
Time to get back in the saddle as it were and stop being such a greedy get!
